And It All Lands in One Document
An auditor does not read your dashboard. An auditor reads your plan. So HACCP Builder compiles everything into a single HACCP Plan: up to twenty numbered sections, with a contents page, real page numbers, a running footer with your facility name, and your uploaded attachments placed inside the section they belong to rather than stapled on at the end.

GFSI Is a Benchmark
The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) is a benchmark. It reviews existing food safety schemes against a common set of requirements, the GFSI Benchmarking Requirements, and recognizes the schemes that meet them. Every GFSI-recognized scheme is held to that same benchmark, which is why they share a core.
There Is No GFSI Certificate
Searching for GFSI certification? Here is the short answer. GFSI does not issue certificates, and it does not certify facilities. It benchmarks food safety schemes, and it recognizes the schemes that meet its requirements. Any certificate a facility holds is issued against a scheme by a third-party body, never by GFSI itself.
That is why the useful question is not where to get a GFSI certificate, because there isn’t one. It is what your program needs to meet the benchmark, and how to show it. Whichever Scheme Your Buyer Names, or None at All
GFSI-recognized schemes are benchmarked against the same GFSI Benchmarking Requirements. They differ at the edges and share a core, and HACCP Builder is built on that core. So if you serve several buyers, you are not running several separate projects. You are running one program underneath, and the scheme is a decision on top of it. Change schemes, take on a customer whose auditor leans another way, or simply get better advice next year, and the program underneath carries over.
Nothing Arrives Blank
The sub plan library ships with 55 written plans, 17 of them Pathogen Plans. You can add as many of your own as you need: they sit alongside the library and print in your plan like any other, and corporate can add plans of its own to a group of facilities. Key Documents work the same way: add as many as you need, and choose the type when you create each one (SOP, SSOP, GMP, cGMP or other). They print in your plan's Key Documents section. Every pillar, check list and register above arrives with real starting content, not an empty box with a help link. You edit it to your facility, your process and your products. The original stays in the library, so whoever is editing is never guessing what a section is supposed to contain.
You decide what applies. The full library stays visible whether you use an item or not. Setting one to Active is what puts it in your plan: a deliberate decision per item, never a side effect of a template existing. Sub plans and Key Documents are switched on at the facility. Check lists are set at corporate and pushed down, so a multi-site operator holds one standard across every location. Sub plans you have edited are marked customized, so you can see which are genuinely yours and which are still as issued.
Pathogen Plans
Pathogen Plans have their own section of your plan and their own place in the navigation. Each is written for one organism, such as Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes, Clostridium botulinum, norovirus or Vibrio. It gives the organism's established characteristics and the control approach, cites the authoritative source, and leaves a marked place for your own validated limits. That is deliberate. A limit inherited from a template is exactly the unvalidated control an auditor pulls on, so the plans do not hand you one. You activate the ones that apply to your product.

What These Are, and What They Are Not
Each pillar is a structured written program that someone in your company owns.
